ReNu® MultiPlus for all soft contact lenses
ReNu MultiPlus Fresh Lens Comfort cleans, rinses, disinfects, lubricates, stores your soft contact lenses and removes protein build-up when used daily without the need to rub.
ReNu MultiPlus Fresh Lens Comfort To clean, disinfect and remove protein:
  • Wash, rinse and dry your hands.

  • Thoroughly rinse each side of the lens for five (5) seconds with ReNu® MultiPlus.

  • Fill the appropriate compartment of the lens case with fresh ReNu MultiPlus® MultiPlus solution and place the cleaned contact lens in the compartment, making sure that the contact lens is completely immersed in the solution. Secure the lens case cap and repeat the process with the other contact lens. Soak at least four (4) hours or all night to achieve disinfection. Your contact lenses are now ready to wear.
  • After soaking, your contact lenses can be placed in your eyes. No rinsing is required after disinfection and prior to lens placement in your eyes. However, if any debris remains on your lenses you may rinse with ReNu MultiPlus® Multi-Purpose Solution. Pour the ReNu MultiPlus® Multi-Purpose Solution out of the lens case and rinse the case with fresh solution.
 For storage and conservation:
  • Wash, rinse and dry your hands.

  • If your eye care practitioner recommends a rubbing step in the care of your contact lenses, you should follow these instructions in advance of step 1 above: remove your contact lens and place in the palm of your hand. Apply three drops of solution to each side of your contact lens, and using the forefinger of your opposite hand, gently rub back and forth over the lens for at least 20 seconds, taking care not to damage the lens surface with your nails.

  • After disinfection you may leave your lenses in the unopened lens case ready to wear, up to a maximum of 30 days. If your lenses are stored for longer periods of time, they must be cleaned and disinfected with fresh solution every 30 days and again prior to wear. It is essential that you follow your eye care practitioner's directions and the labeling instructions for proper use and care of your lenses and lens care products, including the lens case.

  • A thorough contact lens care regimen is essential to ensure maximum comfort, visual clarity and eye
    health while you wear your contact lenses.
  • Good contact lens care helps lenses to feel more comfortable longer.
  • Follow the wearing schedule and lens care regimen prescribed for you by your eye care practitioner. Failure to do so can result in serious eye complications.
  • Contact lenses should be cleaned and disinfected after each wearing period.
  • Always wash, rinse and dry your hands before handling your contact lenses.
  • If lenses are not worn on a daily basis, they should be stored in a lens case. If lenses are stored more than 30 days, it is advisable to clean and disinfect them prior to wearing.
  • After use, always empty and rinse the lens case with fresh ReNu MultiPlus® Multi-Purpose Solution, and allow to air dry.
  • Clean and disinfect one lens at a time to avoid mixing up left and right lenses.
  • Handle your lenses with the fingertips, avoiding any contact with fingernails.
  • Always use fresh ReNu MultiPlus® Multi-Purpose Solution and discard after use. Do not reuse solution.
  • Do not use saline solution to soak lenses.
  • If you wear make-up, apply it after inserting your lenses.
  • Soft contact lenses and the contact lens case should be replaced frequently – talk to your eye care practitioner about the most suitable replacement schedule for you.
  • It is important to schedule regular visits (at least once a year) to your eye care practitioner..

Warnings and Precautions :

  • Do not mix with other fluids, except as directed. Contact lens solutions are not interchangeable.
  • Never instill eye drops or solutions not intended for use with contact lenses.
  • Do not use any eye medication in conjunction with this solution except under medical supervision.
  • If you experience any irritation, eye discomfort, excessive tear production, vision changes or redness of the eye, remove your lenses, discontinue use of this product and consult your eye care practitioner.
  • Store all contact lens solutions at room temperature (15- 30°C)
  • Solutions are sterile until opened. Do not touch the bottle tips to any surface since this may cause contamination. Always keep the bottle tightly closed.
  • Use solution before the expiration date indicated on the carton and bottle label.
  • Never re-use ReNu MultiPlus® Multi-Purpose Solution, and discard remaining solution 6 months after first opening.
  • Do not wear your soft contact lenses when working in the presence of harmful or irritating vapour or fumes.
  • Do not allow soaps, cosmetics or other chemical substances to come in contact with your lenses.
  • Do not use eye make-up in the inner margin of the eyelids as small particles could be transferred onto the surface of your lens.
  • Keep out of the reach of children.
